Black Panther (2018) Plot Synopsis, Poster and Trailer revealed

Marvel has released it’s first poster, plot synopsis and teaser trailer for the upcoming Black Panther film.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther follows on from ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and gives the Panther his first solo adventure.

A Disney Marvel press release gives the following synopsis:

“Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle

“But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

The first official poster shows the hero, played by Chadwick Boseman, unmasked and sat on his Wakadan throne.

Also starring Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis, Black Panther will hit cinemas in the UK on 9th February 2018 and on 16th February 2018 in the US.

Black Panther looks set to be another exciting and action-filled movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Watch the trailer below and see if you agree!
